Fyeah Spirit Tracks
bechnokid:

LONG RANT AHEAD.
Ok, ok. So. Di and I had this interesting talk about the WW series and we were thinking about which time period did it possibly take place in. Despite keeping an overall medieval tone, we noticed that there were some things that could be applied to other eras in time. WW took place several centuries after the events in OoT and since OoT seemed to take place around the 10th and 11th centuries, WW probably took place around the 18th to 19th centuries. And it seemed likely from what we’ve seen! There were subtle clues here and there in WW, but Linebeck and his steamboat make the best examples (ok, maybe I’m just being biased). Not only is his outfit fashionable with its 18th-century influences, but the technology of his steamboat was first created around the 18th/19th centuries. So we had a safe assumption that WW took place in that time period.
Now.
Spirit Tracks takes place about 100 years after the events in Phantom Hourglass. That means, the time period would probably be equivalent to the early 20th century, which…happens to be a favorite in fashion from what I know. And you know what that also means. SUSPENDERS. EHEHEHEHEHE.
So here’s Linebeck III in all of his handsome glory. %D (Though, I don’t think I drew his boater hat correctly.)
